NEON STRIKE
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy explains what information Neon Strike collects when you play, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted. Neon Strike is a browser and mobile arcade game. You can play as a guest without giving us any personal information.
What we collect
| Information | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and password (the password is stored only in encrypted, hashed form) | You create an account with email | To sign you in and keep your progress on every device |
| Email address, name and profile picture from your Google account | You choose “Continue with Google” | To sign you in. We use your email to identify your account |
| Game progress: coins, ships, upgrades, characters, campaign level | You play while signed in | To save your progress online |
| Purchase records: which coin pack, the store's order or transaction number, coins added, date | You buy coins in the mobile app | To check the purchase is real and add your coins exactly once |
| Your device's network (IP) address | Loading the game, signing in, playing multiplayer | Needed to deliver the game and connect players; see below |
We do not see or store your card or payment details: Google Play and the App Store handle payment. The game has no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools, and we never sell your information.
Stored on your device
The game keeps some data in your browser's or app's local storage: your guest save, your settings, an unfinished run you can continue, and your sign-in session so you stay logged in. This stays on your device. Clearing your browser data for the site removes it.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer connects your device directly to other players' devices. To do that, your IP address is shared with the players you play with and with connection services: the PeerJS matchmaking server, STUN servers run by Google and Twilio, and the Open Relay TURN service by Metered, which relays game traffic when a direct connection isn't possible. Your player name (the part of your email before the @, or “GUEST”) is shown to other players. Multiplayer messages contain only game information such as positions and shots.
Services we use
- Supabase: accounts, sign-in and the database that stores your save and purchase records (hosted in the EU).
- Cloudflare: hosts the website. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and basic request information.
- jsDelivr and unpkg: deliver two code libraries the game uses, so they receive your IP address when the game loads.
- Google: “Continue with Google” sign-in, and Google Play for in-app purchases on Android.
- Apple: in-app purchases on iPhone and iPad.
- PeerJS, Google and Twilio STUN, Metered Open Relay: multiplayer connections, as described above.
How long we keep it
Account, save and purchase information is kept while you have an account. When an account is deleted, its save and purchase records are deleted with it. Information about purchases may be kept for longer where the law requires it, for example for tax or refund records.
Deleting your account
To delete your account and all of its data, email theirishbuzz@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Neon Strike account”. You don't need to open or reinstall the game. We will confirm when it is done, normally within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used, by emailing us. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority; in Ireland that is the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Children
Neon Strike is not aimed at young children. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before creating an account. If you believe a child has created an account without permission, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
